Meet Máire

Having graduated with an honours degree in 1999 and entering into the crazy thought process around Y2K, with a degree in Information Technology & Telecommunications the world was my oyster.

I quickly moved up the ranks moving from one job to another for increases in salary and more exploration of the globe.  I thought I had it all, the job, the house, the car – a life that most would have been envious of from the outside but something was missing.  So, I set out on my trail of adventure, my quest for more.

Travel was a big part of my journey because it revealed more on each and every trip.  Both with the corporate works and society exploring everything from the poorest of the poor in Cambodia to the marble shopping centres in the middle east and everything in between.  Volunteering also played a big part in my exposure to other ways, different personalities, values, beliefs and ways of being.

In 2008 I returned to college in search of more, I gained a higher diploma in executive coaching, a higher diploma in Leadership and a master of Business.  While it was corporate based it really opened my eyes to the masks people can wear while functioning at a very high level in society.  I continued to work in corporate but it challenged my core values, ones like fairness, commitment, honesty and striving for a fair society.  I found myself calling out most of it as bullsh** and having to deal with that challenge and subsequent consequences.  There was no balance and I felt completely out of balance.

In parallel I was exploring various healing can coaching modalities, like Reiki, Neuro Linguistic Programming and Systemic Constellation work.  I knew there was something more, I craved something more.  I also got married and had 2 children over the following years.

Over the subsequent years, I began to acknowledge to myself that I could see the unseen, hear the unspoken word and intuitively know the real story behind a given situation.

This was both exciting and frightening.  It meant I had to step away from some situations while finding myself involved, unexpectedly, in others.

MÁIRE MORKAN

Anyone on a journey of self discovery will acknowledge the highs and lows, the ‘why me?’ question and the ‘what’s next?’ question, we always will but connecting to your true souls purpose bring with it peace, ease and flow and above all love.  Love of self, love of life, of opportunities, of adventure and of living.

I now work full time supporting those who know deep down that there is more, who are discontent with where they find themselves and are ready to take action.  It’s exciting, it’s challenging, it’s rewarding and it is fulfilling.    I am passionate about my work.
